The car that I thought was sold is not, so I am putting it up for sale here now.
The car has no title, it belonged to a diplomat who left it here in the states and there is no way to obtain a new title. It does not have DOT or EPA inspections of any sort.
Basically, its a parts car no matter what, unless you have a dealer or transport tag. It cannot be titled in any possible way.
Things that have been removed from the car:
1. Euro cluster.
2. glovebox latch.
3. Alpine 7146 headunit.
4. Rear foglight switch and the hazard / defrost switches.
5. Front speakers.
I ripped up the HVAC panel but the AC parts and such are there, I had to cut to get to the headunit easily.
What IS available on this euro model:
1. Euro bumpers, though there is signs of rust and pitting. Sand them down and paint them bodycolor!
2. German check control panel.
3. 323i engine that never came to the states.
4. "Rare" checker pattern cloth, black and gray.
5. Crank windows.
6. Euro front valence with fogs
7. Euro rear tails with rear fog setup (you need a front switch though ;) )
8. H4 Cibie headlights (I think).
9. Rear euro shelf (early models only).
10. Other misc stuff I may have forgotten. Its EUROOOOOOOOOOOO.
The car still has a solid amount of parts left and runs decently, though it has a horrible squeal from the front suspension when turning left (NASCAR lol) and plumes of white smoke come out the back, so the engine isn't 100%.
$1,200 OBRO
