    time to sell: 90 325i $5k

    Decided to part ways......$4k.

below is text from previous owner.....i have replaced alternator and exhaust, new alpine cd, 13 button obc, euro smileys and grills. replaced trunk lid w/ beautiful newly painted one...new brakes all around, starts right up, runs like a champ. has had body work done by previous owner, really a nice looking e30.

    2-door 90 325i Brillantrot with black(full sport int with 89 iS wheel)]
Overall the car is in very nice shape for a E30 and the only rust is on the trunk lid
the paint is in very good shape, car has never been in a accident or painted.
    the modifications are as follows
Blistein sports with h and R sport springs
    JMC chip
    Short throw shifter
    Factory 3.73 LSD
    konig remembers, 16in
    toyo proxes4 205-45-16 tires

bosch plus 4 plugs with magnecore wires, and new cap and rotor.
TIming belt was done at 176.5k along with all the other belts and the waterpump
also a compression test was just done and the results are as follows
    cyl-1 164
    cyl-2 175
    cyl-3 169
    cyl-4 174
    cyl-5 167

I don't want to crap your thread, so i'll just start off by suggesting you write the truth about the car's history, instead of copying "text from previous owner"

the truth about the history? I've had it a f'ing year, and I listed what I did with it..(."....i have replaced alternator and exhaust, new alpine cd, 13 button obc, euro smileys and grills. also have a replacement trunk lid, needs painted. "

why have you been sweating me ever since I didnt buy your black e30 w/ the busted dash? let it go man.

and it is missing some things from when you sold it, like elipsoids, and a rusted out exhaust, and an oil leak.

For starters there is more than rust on just the trunk lid. Unless you're going to tell me you've never looked or been underneath the car. Wait, maybe you just replaced some of the fuel lines and redid the chassis with all your modding while you were at it

Secondly, car was definately partially resprayed, if i'm not mistaken on both sides beneath the moulding and on the driver side cowl. I'd be shocked if you didnt know this one either.

I would have rathered you just fixed your OP instead of playing dumb and coming at me, but people lie enough on these boards as it is already.

For shits and giggles, care to tell me exactly what short shifter's in there mr coolpix?

on second thought, dont answer - i don't care, i know your answer.

All I'm saying is buyer beware. It was a good car when I had it, but that was a while back. I knew some of the problems it had before i sold it (which i mentioned when i did) and know those things don't go away on their own. Good luck with the sale. Just be honest next time.

I wasnt trying to mislead anyone. all the shit you are sweating me over is text from PO statement. at the worst I'm guilty of not proofreading what he wrote to save time. AFAIK the short shifter is what he told me, and what you told him....and yeah, the PO did some body work on it...this is true, and something he never disclosed to me. so rather than getting into some horseshit internet cat fight, why dont you control your urges to shit on someone else's thread.....

and for shits and giggles, here's what you said about the short shift back in '06 when you sold the fucking car.... care to tell us what short shift it has on it?

"possibly a short shift kit installed. not 100% sure. previous owner never mentioned it, but anyone who has driven my car (dude8383 can attest to this) will tell you it feels like a short shifter. the throw seems shorter and it clicks into gear. not notchy, but not sloppy like stock. so i cant say for 100% but it does feel good" MIKE30, 2006

so maybe it's not a stretch to post afterall?
