    FS: Rust free 1972 Datsun 240z $2300 on ebay!

    I'm buying one of my uncles 240z's, its complete and he's giving it to me for a crazy price, and financing it ($2500 down pay the rest whenever). So this must go

    In this area, a nice clean 240z that hasn't rotted out is a rarity. This 1972 Datsun 240z, production date 3/72, has a 4 speed manual transmission and 90,373 original miles. The car spent it's entire life in Forrestville, NY (near fredonia). Stored winters, only brought out in the sunshine. Previous owner started stripping it to repaint it and touch up more things, only to get colon cancer. So a good amount of work is done, but still more to go (it needs paint).

    All the common rot areas are clean. NO rust. floors, frame rails, cowl, battery tray, hatch area, spare tire well, all RUST FREE! there is a little bit of surface rust coming up on the lips of the rear quarters but that could easily be sanded off.

    This is indeed a project, but a great start. Everything is there. New carpet and foam (uncut) is included.

    UNCRACKED DASH! very rare factory a/c (I was going to remove it but whatever, leave it in if you want). Fiberglass headlight buckets included. Brand new 2.25" exhaust included
    I wouldn't be selling, I would spray it and drive it but my uncle gave me an offer on one of his cars that I can't refuse.

    I believe the car has a new clutch; when I received a box of parts with it, included were an old clutch disc, and a clutch alignment tool. The car was in running condition, the radiator was removed as I was going to pull the motor to paint the engine bay, but I'd imagine all the car needs to run is new fluids and a battery.

    Does not include wheels pictured. I will take a photo of the wheels included, likely tomorrow.
    Will ship at buyer's expense. Buyer makes arrangements. Available for local inspection.

    all the jams are freshly painted red

    floors are rust free!!!!!one

    roof is nice, no dents

    interior somewhat together again

    clean under the cowl

    fuel tank appears new

    have a full album of over 50 photos here;

      So is the car running atm? Think it'd survive a drive back to Atlanta?
      Thanks.

        all it needs to run is likely new fluids, and an upper and lower rad hose, but no I wouldn't drive it any distance; I'd definitely recommend towing it
