FS - 1990 325i sedan, auto, black with tan interior

This car belongs to a friend of mine, not me, but it's here in NJ and he's not.

    Data:

1990 325i sedan, 142,206 miles, automatic, black with tan interior, airbag car with small bumpers. 100% OEM car (no aftermarket or performance parts). All original paint and VIN stickers, no accident history.

Paint is decent/good, couple of small rust spots, interior is near mint, new tires, all new OEM suspension including control arms, shocks, etc. a/c works, radio works, all gauges work - everything electronic works. Drives perfectly, like a "new" E30. Recent brakes and master cylinder. Aside from the problem detailed below, this car is a "driver" ready to go and needing nothing else. It's a very quiet car, surprising after having driven so many E30s with missing underpanels and loud exhaust.
I personally drove this car to NJ from Ohio and can vouch for it.

    What's wrong?

A rear hard brake line rusted, causing a leak, so it needs that repair before it can be driven. (Or you can drive it without brakes, which I cannot say is a fantastic idea. :D)

    Asking price from owner:

$1800. Reasonable offers or interesting trades considered.

If you are interested and want to take a look at it, it's located in Hillsborough NJ. You can call me at 908-874-9092 to schedule a time to see it during the day.

Please call only if you want to see it. I do not have any more significant information other than what I wrote above and what is shown in the pics.

BTW, I did get one good question that I can answer...

Battery box as ZERO rust. Looks like new in there.

        Hey guys,

This car is still available... the guy that wanted it held and left a small deposit disappeared.

Needs to go ASAP. Can be seen in Hillsborough, NJ for the next week after which it may be shipped back to Ohio.

If interested, write to me at rob@shortshifter.com to set up a viewing time.
