Update: Everything in the pictures have been fixed and reinforced. Just drove it today 100 miles with no problems
I wanna sell my 02, i bought it from my friend. He parents had it stored in the garage for the past 3 years in Florida, just got to Savannah a month and half ago.
exterior: The 2002 was painted 6 years ago down in Florida. It does however have spots where the paint is starting to bubble. The car does have minimal rust. I would not have bought it, if I thought it was a rust bucket. Seals around the front window is starting to dry crack. A door ding on the driver side door. Actually got quote for $40 to pop it out. Front shock towers are clean, passenger side had paint chip so it does have surface rust. Rear towers in trunk are solid.
Interior: Two front seats are blue, while the rear seat are brown padding. Door panels are beige. Driver side panel is off and sitting trunk. Dash is clean and no cracks. Aftermarket Sony CD player is installed.
Engine: The odo says 37060, do not believe it is original miles. Most of these 02s have to documents to claim that low of miles .He has $1,500 in receipts for engine and mechanical work, which I need to get from him. It has a Ansa exhaust from engine back. The car sounds awesome. It does have a single weber. Not specific on size of weber.
The bad part is that when it was being transported from Florida to Savannah, the transporter messed up the passenger side rear suspension. He tried to be slick and drop the car off at 1:30 in morning and get out of dodge. We actually have a legal situation with them about the damage. This is also why my reserve is not high. The control arm is actually pushed away from the body as you can see in the pics. It is needs to be welded back to the body.
