FS 91 318is RED, VERY CLEAN Virginia

    CAR IS SOLD

This one has been enthusiast owned for most of its life and I’ve owned it for the past 10 years. Nearly every piece of rubber underneath has been replaced and maintenance items have been done routinely. I have the records to support this. I have greatly enjoyed it as a daily driver and also given it a few workouts in local autoxs.

It has 200k miles on the chassis, however the current working odometer reads 146,xxx - the cluster was replaced Spring 07 when the original tach went dead. I have the original one w/ 19x,xxx miles and it has not been daily driven in the past year. Recently a couple upgrades have been done but Ive tried to keep everything as close to stock as possible. To stiffen up the suspension installed are H&R Sport springs w/ Bilstein Sport shocks along with a Sparco front strut brace. To increase hp and redline a Dinan chip was added. It currently has lightweight 15” Kosei K1s and Falken Azenis tires. Wheel studs and 15mm H&R spacers are included to run the Koseis. I have a set of stock 14” basketweaves w/ centers painted black with 75% Kumho all-seasons that will be included. Also installed is the OEM Skid Plate to protect the oil pan.

Issues are hesitation/rough idle at start, most likely a leak from a vacuum line, it takes 30 seconds to smooth out and then idles perfect. The tach is intermittent. The A/C is not currently working, need to replace the bolt that holds the pulley in place (all other components in place and was in perfect order 3 months ago).

General maintenance done includes radiator, t-stat, tie rods, control arms, control arm bushings, front/rear shock mounts, oem sachs clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing – all in last 20k, and timing chain tensioner/guides done 50k ago. Redline diff and transmission fluid put in 10k ago. Power steering pump/belt is removed and the lines have looped to eliminate the over "boosted" steering feel. Has up to date VA Inspection from 7/08 and I have the CLEAN Title in hand. The car has never been in any kind of accident.

This is one of the few e30 with NO SUNROOF. The paint is in great shape. There are a few rock chips on the hood, a 3 inch scratch on the trunk, and one dime size ding on the drivers qtr panel. Very straight body overall. There is NO RUST on the vehicle. The interior is black on tan carpet, driver seat is tan sport seat with black leather seat cover (from bavauto), passenger seat is near perfect black leatherette sport seat, with matching rear bench. It has the leather airbag wheel from 325is and e34 leather ebrake handle.

Car is tons of fun to drive, loves to pull through the gears, hugs the corners, and gets 25 mpg in the city and 33 on the highway.

PRICE IS FIRM: $3800 w Koseis and weaves, $3500 with just weaves
