Selling '87 535is 5 speed with 225K on the clock. Vehicle is blue with tan sports interior.
Outside: clear coat is faded. Surface rust on the lower front fenders, driver's door corner has rust, but extra door (grey) is available. Typical rust in the spare wheel well. There is a dent on the right rear fender lip with some rust developing. The car sits on 16" e38 style 5s in good condition.
Inside: tan interior with power sport seats. PO started recovering the bolsters with blue leather, but have not finished the job. Leather bits are included. Overall good interior, just needs some cleaning. AC is blows warm.
Mechanicals: the car runs good for the age. It does have a so-so idle when cold, but absolutely fine when warms up. We do have receipts for clutch work, rear main seal and the driveshaft (new). Shifter is tight, motor is clean and still pulls good. This vehicle will need new exhaust to pass inspection, but it has been a very dependable daily driver for the past 2 years. I would not hesistate to drive this thing anywhere.
With minor work (exhaust and headlights) the car will pass inspection and would be a real fun winter driver for somebody.
