Here is some of the maintenance history:

1991-1993: I have various receipts from DeSimone BMW in Marlton NJ. I also have the original service booklet

I have records for some of the work done by the previous owner, some items including brake replacements in 2004, and various alignments, oil changes etc. Some of the work was done at Woodlawn Foreign Car Service.

I purchased the car in Sept 2006.

    Sept 2007:
Work done by Bob Fox in Ambler PA. He normally does Porsches and Porsche race cars, but also does MB and BMWs. Really know his stuff.

    -Replaced Clutch Master Cylinder
    -Replaced Clutch Slave Cylinder
    -Replaced Clutch Pressure Hose
    -Replace Brake Fluid
-Replace Both front Brakes with New Rotors
-Replace both Rear Brakes with New Rotors
-Replace all Pads with New Brake Pads
-Replace all fluids, oil change +filter

    Nov. 2008:
Work completed at B&W Auto, a place where I've brought all of my families' BMWs.

    -Replace Selector Rod
-Replace Shift assembly (New O-Rings, Shims, Dust Boot, Shifter Support, Upper and Lower Cups)
-Remanufactered Front Left Caliper, Replace Brake Fluid.
    -New tires, Kuhmo KH16
    -Emissions+Inspection

Between these two bills, that is $2500+ in Maint in the last 13 months. I'm sure it would be a fair amount more when you add in small items that I replaced myself like coolant+PS hoses and the throttle cable, etc. No cost has been spared to insure that this car drives perfectly. It has also been super reliable over the course of my ownership.

This list does not include various oil changes, etc. I have some records from various places for those, along with bills for tires and batteries, etc.

I also have all, if not most, of the emissions reports from the past 5 years. Not sure what help that is, but I have them if they are of any interest.

    General History:

I've owned the car since Sept 2006.

Before that it was owned by another BMW enthusiast, who owns an e30 m3, an Alpina e12 and Alpina e21. He bought the car in 2003

Before that the car was in NJ, but I am not sure if the owner was the original. I have the original lease papers from BMW, and the sale records from the transfer to the previous owner and the one between him and myself. He paid $6,500 in 2003.
My e30 and e28 are both up for sale::

        Sorry, what are you asking?
How much for both the e30 and e28? $4500

I do not own a schwarz car so I'm kind of confused. And the Alpine car is the one listed above...

It seems everyone is in that situation, including myself.

I'd really like to trade both cars for a plastic bummpered 318is/325is. I think someone could get an awesome deal, an e30 replacement for their e30 but with the added bonus of being great for spring summer and fall, and an awesome 535is daily driver project for the winter.

Anyone interested in such a trade? Or a trade for the vert and I'm throw in money or the e28? Really looking for a change in what I'm riving, and I'm sure someone out there is too.

This price is OBO as-is, so feel free to make any offer you'd like.

Anyone interested in partial trading for some e30 parts?

Wheels/tires, suspension, smileys, 'is' spoiler, etc all would be nice. My e30 is a 'vert, tho, so it is unlikely that anyone has shocks/springs.

Thanks, its so hot that I want to keep her. This is why I'm really hoping someone comes along and wants to do the opposite, trade e28 parts for my e30 so I can keep my baby. I love both cars, but I'm just not a convertible type of guy.
