I posted on E46 Fanatics, but may as well put it up here too.
2001 330i Titanium Silver w/Grey Interior, Brushed Aluminum Trim, Actual Mileage: 104,258.
Sport Package, Winter Package, CC, Moonroof, 5 Speed, Power Seats
I've had the car for about a year, and I want to go back to an E30. I like this car, it is in Excellent Condition, and if there isn't interest I'm happy to keep it, but if I can get a good price I will sell. I worked as a BMW/Mercedes mechanic for 7 years, throughout high school and college, and the car has been meticulously maintained since I acquired it. It has Redline fluids throughout, and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic every 3,500 Miles. The clutch is fresh, and the tires still have decent tread left (Goodyear Eagle F1s). Just passed VA inspection in September. End of August, New Original BMW Battery. New low beam
The car is mechanically stock except for Clutch, Flywheel, and Pulleys, and will include all original parts with the car. The PO also installed a Remus exhaust, which sounds phenomenal. I'm not big on exhaust noises, but this one has an excellent tone. The only other previously installed part was Clear Corners.
Recent Parts: All installed around 2,000 Miles ago
New OEM BMW Front and Rear Rotors
New PBR Ultimate Street Pads F&R
Redline Fluids (Diff, Transmission, PS (ATF))
Super Blue Brake Fluid
JB GA Spec flywheel
Sachs Motorsport Clutch and Pressure Plate
Sachs Sport Throwout Bearing and Pilot
ZHP Shift Knob
Moonroof shade clips replaced and track lubricated
UUC SS Clutch Line
European No-Armrest Center Console
Rogue Engineering Power Pulleys
BMW Serpentine Belt
PO Installed:
Remus Exhaust
Clear Corners
I have the BMW European Diesel Bumper Ducts but they are not yet painted/installed. I have a quart of PPG BMW paint and clear ready to go, just need to take them to a shop.
Issues:
No major problems,
2 small issues:
The CD Player does not like certain CDs, (You have to insert them two or three times to get them to play)
The front passenger interior trim (SRS Airbag Covers) is "wavy" and needs to be removed and resprayed with adhesive, I will probably get it fixed this weekend.
Also, the spare wheel does not have a tire on it, this is the way the car came, as the PO had a different spare and kept the original spare in his garage.
This is a great car and it is a blast to drive, but I miss my E30 M3. Feel free to ask any and all questions. I am located in Charlottesville, VA if you want to see the car in person. If you have interest and are far away, I can take it to any local shop to have it inspected. The most prominent BMW shop in this area is Blue Ridge Motor (BMW) Works; the owner is good friends with Phil Marx, who is a former BMW CCA President and Former Editor of Roundel.
The body and interior are both 8/10 and the car looks excellent after a wash. There are one or two small rock dings in the body, no chips. The interior bits are also in great shape, with minor scratching on the easily blemished ashtray cover, and one or two small scratches in the back seat. I am happy to get pictures of them if you want to see. The only visible paint scratch is on the underside of the bumper (Urethane, so no rust concerns) that has been touched up. I assume the PO pulled into a parking spot too far and rubbed a curb.
Asking Price is $15k. As I said, if I do not have a lot of interest at this price, I do not mind keeping the car, so please do not lowball. If you are interested PM me for pictures, and can email you and get them posted in the thread.
Also willing to trade for four door E30 plus cash.
Serious Inquiries, Dylan at 804.787.0085 You can catch me during the day most of the time, or anytime after 6pm. Thanks! -Dylan Davis
