After a lot of thought I’ve decided to sell my 318is. Due to the growth of the family, I need to move on to a more practical car and sell both of my e30s. I had all intentions to keep it as my garage queen but that is not really in the cards right now. This has been a very reliable car and has been very well maintained while in my possession. I bought the car in March, 2005 with 117k on it and it has 141k now. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country right now. The car has no fluid leaks.
The red paint keeps a beautiful shine however there are a few minor rust spots on the passenger side. I have a rust free door that is included with the car that I never did get put on.
The black interior is in excellent condition for its age. The dash has a very small crack, almost unnoticeable, and the drivers seat bolster has some minor wear but no tears. The carpet is still barely worn.
Maintenance/Mods:
H&R Sport springs
Bilstein sport shocks
M3 CABs
New re-manufactured ZF PS rack
4.10 LSD Medium case
New Supersprint exhaust (you can still smell the paint burning on it)
New PBR/Axxis Metal Master pads all around
Cross Drilled rotors
Jim Conforti chip in ECU (Original ECU comes with the car too)
Bavarian Autosport High Performance coils
Bosch plug wires
Replaced all vacuum lines
K&N drop in air filter
Replaced water pump and thermostat, flushed cooling system
Z3 1.9 Short shift kit
A/C blows nice and cold
Hella H4/H1 headlight upgrade
JVC KD-HDR1 HD radio that is also satellite ready and has aux. input for i-pod/mp3
Pioneer 5-1/4 speakers all around
Factory tweeter pods (the passenger is fried however)
Mobil 1 in engine
Redline oil in tranny
Dino oil in diff.
O2 sensor
The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. It is an absolute blast to drive this car. It handles like it is on rails.
Awesome gas mileage too. 25-28 around town and 31-38 on highway. It just depends how heavy your foot is.
$4500 OBO
