    FS: 1989 BMW 325i

    The car has been sold.

I'm selling my US-Spec 1989 BMW 325i due to an impending career change that will leave me with very little free time to work on and race my E30. This car was my daily driver when I was stationed in Germany and it never left me stranded. I had hoped to turn it in to a Spec-E30 but like I said, an upcoming career change won't allow that. Last week I picked it up at the port in St. Louis and drove it back to Warrensburg, where the car currently resides.

I won't lie, this car is pretty rough. The clear coat is pealing off and the paint has faded. There are some small scratched here and there but there is some noticeable damage in the passenger side door, see picture. The front half of the interior is in place minus the headliner and speakers. The rear half of the interior has been stripped out due to lots of what appeared to be child damage (crayon marks, juice stains, rips in the seat) but also because I was preparing it for a roll cage. Also, the odometer stopped working during the drive from St. Louis. The car currently has ~ 172K on the clock. The motor runs strong and like I said before, I've never had any major issues with it.

In the past four months I've replaced the alternator, alternator belt, engine fan, thermostat, and the exhaust from the headers back. I've also revamped the brakes with Brembo blank rotors, Hawk HPS brake pads, rebuilt calipers, Turner Motorsports DOT-approved stainless steel braided brake lines with protective coating along with Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid.

A clean NADA report says this car is worth ~$2,500 and an honest Kelly Blue Book report says it's worth ~$1,200. The first person to put $1,000 in my hand can take the car. I have no way of delivering the car and it isn't currently registered, so the buyer will have to arrange the pick up. The title is clean and there were no discrepancies on the Car Fax report I ran prior to buying the car. I may still have the Car Fax report but I'm not sure. Again, the car is in Warrensburg Missouri.

This is the damage on the passenger side door I spoke of.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them here or send me a PM.

I responded to your PM but no, I won't take any trades unless it's a pre-1970 VW Beetle or Ghia.

It's still for sale. I've had a lot of interest but nothing has solidified.

I'm jealous as hell. Nice pickup :)

Whats the plan? You should start a project thread for it :D

Nope, I'm just gonna respray it, wheels, and dump it, and be done with it. It's my DD I have a project car already. Its in my SIG.
