and i understand titles, and tourings. trust me.

good luck with the sale though
    no shit! :)

I thought 10k-12k for everything was reasonable as is... I put in what I paid so people understand... I don't expect $19k for an incomplete car or even $15k for that matter - you need a place to start talking though...

And although Alex's Touring for $12k has a superior engine and a 5-lug swap mine will have many goodies in its own right and I'd be asking $15-$17k which I believe to be reasonable for my car complete - look at the build again....

And yes I'd have $25k into it... But that is for reference... So someone knows that to build the car it would cost X but they can have it for Y and the Y is in line with the market (I believe)...

I suppose you would need to know me and my cars that I have made over the past few years to understand what one gets... I currently have an iX for sale that has to have about $20k into it ($11k in paint and rust repair/removal) that I'm looking to get $5-$6k for..

Things have happened between me and a loved one that has made me realize this car stuff has to stop... So while money was no object for me and I built what I wanted and paid whatever I'm selling at fair prices... But I think perspective buyers should know what has gone into the build to understand I'm not some hack that just throws shit together...

I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and I get the best I can find... The damn M50 was purchased because it was a NV 68k motor that looked about as clean as they'd come... I'd love to have bought an S50/52 but the M50 was clean as hell and the right price with MANY of the parts needed to swap... The plan was to make a 'built' engine out of it someday...

Anyways, I think we understand each other and those that are reading along do as well... I don't frequent R3V often and don't really know anyone on here, but head over the bfc and search my name for some of my cars... E90, E46, E36, etc etc... There have been a few projects in the past few years...

yeah, you're probably right then. once everything is taken care of, the rust issues are resolved, etc. it will be easier for prospective buyers to see what they'd be getting for that pricerange
