Says his dad helped him pay.
He's screwed... That's why I buy mine outright so I can tell them to fuck off.
Bump for a gorgeous car and one of my favorites ever.

Is the car still for sale and does it have a clean title?

My dad would think it was cool if I saved my own money, and went out on my own, to get what I want!

it's that part of being an adult? Isn't that what parents want from thier kids?

Sounds like theres a little more to the story.

When your young you're alot better off just getting a clunker until you can take care of something nice like this. At least until you can afford a car that's not beyond your means. Not trying to preach, but I went through this with my little cousin. Its just another lesson learned.

This is a super deal, but Im going to have to let it go. glwts.

Hey guys, don't sit in here and ruin my for sale thread, if you are mad about something or want to bash me for selling this car, do it in a personal message.

I didn't think I needed story time, as this is a for sale thread, and the car is labeled for sale.

I dropped one of my classes earlier this year at my university. They then sent a refund check for the class that I dropped. Well, the check was made out to me, but realistically my Dad pays my tuition. I think you can piece together what happened...

Have some respect guys, there is no reason to walk all over my thread.

Like I said, respectfully.. Good luck with the sale. No need to cry. At this price, this car will be sold fast. You have nothing to worry about.

I didn't mean that as a personal attack by any means, so I apologize if it came off that way. His perspective on the whole situation is pretty much how you described as well.

Yes it is, and yes I have the title in hand.

I was going to guess something with college... Your education and your parents paying for your education is worth far more than the car... If selling it means they keep paying then when you get out and have zero loans you'll be able to buy/make one of these yourself and it'll be all that much better for you...

Gorgeous car, hell of a price... I know where you can get new front and rear for the car for the person interested in buying it... All told the car + body parts/paint would likely be less than $10k invested... you couldn't make one of these for that...

Good luck man and listen to the rents... as someone who paid for college and grad school on their own trust me when I say keep dad happy and sell the damn car.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Also, I just purchased some basketweaves that will come on the car if purchased without the RS wheels.
