GA: 1991 318is Red on Tan, slick top

    318is

    1991  318is
    Red with tan leather
about 155k miles, I repaired the odometer when I purchased the car.

    Good:
Reliable transportation and 30 mpg high/city average over the last 10000 miles.
    New parts:
    Shocks- OE
    Brake pads and rotors
    Tires
    Windshield
Icy AC and the heat works just as well
    Reman AFM
    New ICV
    Plugs
    Wires
    Center support bearing
    Guibo
    Chain tensioner
    Power windows
    NO Sunroof
    Clutch Kit
    M-Tech 2 Steering wheel

    Not so good:
The dash is cracked but otherwise the interior is very clean.
The driver's seat is worn, but you knew that.
Exterior needs work, but would be fine for track use or daily driver.

I have had m10, m20 and m50 e30s but the most fun can be had with the m42... the fuel economy is stelar and you can drive it like a 911... foot in the floor in any curve!

Asking $2500, but will entertain offers from capable buyers. Just don't waste your time or mine, please! :hitler:

Here are some pictures to show the ugly.

It would be a great fixer-upper, but I have only time to drive it.

    Thanks for looking.

Seems to be a good price. Why no interest? I sold an 89' 325i with a blown headgasket for $1000 this week. Someone should buy this.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

As far as I know the car has always lived in Georgia. There is no rust to be found. When I bought the car there was a small oil leak. I changed to a heavier oil and the leak stopped.

The car does not need anything mechanically, but needs some work to be pretty.

Where in Georgia are you located? Dad lives in Warner Robins. Maybe able to take this off your hands.
