Just wondering if anyone is interested in a clean e21. it is a 1981 320is model, all factory never messed with, with the exception of tons, and i mean tons of maintenance and service work. All documented, i have over $16,000 in recorded records for the car. Anything you can imagine could fail has been replaced, everything from a new timing chain and head to CV boots. You would be the 4th owner. I uploaded all the service records onto excel so you can track the cars history, mileage, all the service, and predict when it will need say a new thermostat, its pretty cool. I will email the file over to perspective buyers. I still have all paper records as well that will go the next owner.
It spend its whole life in Seattle so it has: NO sub frame, undercarriage, or inner fender rust, no rust bubbles on the sunroof, rockers you could eat off of. I have pics of the 3 small rust spots, 2 spots, and one just a bubble. A few little dinks and chips but nothing major. The car was repainted in 2001 and they did a pretty good job, only problem is the color is a shade lighter than alpine so you can kind of tell when you look close at the jambs and engine bay. Some of the paint is chipping on the trunk near the roundell, you can see the other shade of white under it They did a full exterior respray so it looks fine to the untrained eye. It has the factory recaro's, 5 13" bbs wheels with new tires, IS frontspoiler, oversized toolkit, with tools, crank sunroof, power mirrors, manual windows, manual steering from the factory, no AC from the factory, has a kenwood tape player, but i have the original BMW tape player for it. tons that im forgeting.
The car runs and drives perfectly, 30 mpg all day, costs around 22 bucks to filll the tank and i can get 300+ miles on that mixed city/highway. It recently passed PA state emissions and saftey inspection so it is a perfect reliable daily driver, i have been driving it everyday as my DD since I bought it. even taken it on multiple 400+ mile road trips with absolutely no problems. The PO actually drove this car from Washington state to D.C. a few times, she said she had no problems.
