Intro
I bought this car back in 2002, this was my 3rd BMW, I love the e30 model. I have a 91 m42 DS my second love. I wish I could keep this car and restore it back to its original condition, but unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the resources to do so. So I"m putting it here, atleast I know it won't go to waste
Current mileage reads 187,385, the odometer stopped working (the little gear that turns it went out, easy fix) right about the time I stopped driving, I can guess around 600-700 miles over that. I live, and work in DC, so there is not much mileage you can put on the car in the city. I feel bad parting it and selling it, i know I can make alot of money, I just don't have the heart. I had so many memories in this car, so many girlfriends, so many dates...

Body
The body is in great condition, no rust. The only part of the body that has a scratch and ding is near the back driver side wheel. I have provided a picture of it. The paint is not in the best condition. I took out the fog lights for my other car, so there is open space where the fog-lights use to be. You can easily purchase fog light deletes which cost about 8$ at BMAparts.com. There is a little attachment under the front fender that is missing, every e30 that I have seen in the streets is missing one, hard to keep on. Its about 1 inch. No leaks, all else the body is great! The shocks are in great condition as well, no bouncing.
Things to note:
-I’m including the Konig Monsoons 17” x 7.5” (wide) that I have on the car, all four of them are there, except on had a flat tire which can be repaired or replaced. Its in the trunk as indicated in the pictures. They are straight and true, small scratches here and there but in great condition. There is minimal tread wear as seen in the pictures. The rims by themselves, can sell for at least $800, because there discontinued and people love em, Included as a bonus
-You get a BBS rim for a spare, the tread is almost gone
Mechanical
Automatic Tranny, I haven’t driven the car in 6 months, so it may need to have a tune up before it runs back to speed again. The reason I stopped driving it was because I moved into the city, the gas prices and all started riding my bike. It was running great the last time i drove it. The battery needs to be charged I will do it for you if you need, but I recommend you tow it out of the place, tune it up before driving it. its a good idea to changed as many gaskets as you can. I have most documents for oil changes and repairs that I can provide to you when you come to pick it up. Passed emissions and inspections last year.
Things that have been changed (everything changed in the last 2000 miles unless indicated)
-New timing belt 2005 milage: 154,703 miles
-New Water Pump 2007
-New Fuel Pump 2007
-New fuel pressure regulator 2007
-New Coil 2007
-New Distributer Cap 2007
-Fuel pump relay and some other relays replaced 2007
-New Sparks 2007
-Brand new radiator less then a year old.
-New Hoses
-Rotors and Brakes changed about 2 years ago.
-I changed the pulse sensor in 2007
-The control arms were replaced back in 2006 so you shouldn’t have any problems with them.
-New air filter 2007
Interior
For this year, the interior is in great shape, only bad thing is the driver seat is not in good condition, otherwise the passenger seat and the backseat are immaculate, just needs to be cleaned. The door panels in great condition. NO CRACKS on the dashboard, and also including that pioneer CD player you see in the picture as an added bonus! I think theres just a missing blank clip where next to the OBC, which is like 1 dollar to buy.
-Stereo system intact
-Air bag steering wheel
-driver back door lock doesn’t power lock with the others but is functional.
-All windows work, I think one of the back door buttons doesn’t work, otherwise all windows are functional
-Power sunroof and works!
-The check control unit that is above the rearview mirror is still intact, but its clips have broken so it doesn’t stay in place, you may need to just buy a new cover for it.
-Glove-box latch is broken but is easily fixable.
-one of the backseat seat belts female is broken.
Payment and Pickup other info
Car is sold AS-IS. I am on a time limit here, I have it at a friends house and they need to refinish there driveway for the winter so I need it out of there ASAP. Payment is due no later than 5 days. You can pay cash or Paypal (verified only). Please pickup no later than 5 days, I really need to get the car out of there.
You will have to come pick it up. It is located in Northern VA, the directions are pretty easy, nothing confusing. If you have AAA towing, I think you sign up for one year for around 80 bucks they give you 100 miles towing for free, so you should consider that. If you live close by (40~50) miles, with the battery charged you can drive it home easily. Let me know if you have any questions be more than happy to answer!!!
