Up for sale is a 1985 BMW 325e 4 door sedan. 5-speed! Delphin over cardinal interior. It ran and drove great a little over a month ago. It was parked about 4 weeks ago due to an igintion problem. It was my distant cousins car and she just wanted it gone out of her yard.
Paint looks OK on the hood and side of the body. The roofs clearcoat has come off leaving no shine, and the trunk lid is peeling. The body is pretty straight other than the rear. Looks like it had been hit by a large truck as it dented and messed up the rear area. The bumper was untouched as the trunk lid and license plate area took the hit. The Mtech spoiler is still in good shape though.
Interior is in decent shape. No glovebox and the knee bolster is missing so wires are hanging out everywhere. I put some leather cleaner on a portion of the rear seat and it looks about 80% better. The bottlecaps are in incredible condition. I was suprised to see how nice they were. The motor is extremely clean which was also a big surprise. Timing belt was done about 15,000 miles ago according to the PO. I should have the new ignition installed in the next week or so.
Not much to look at, but for a sub-$1000 E30 its not that bad. I figured someone wanting to build a Spec E30 race car might have an interest in the car. Asking $800 OBO. Some pics:
