1988 E30 BMW M3 for sale!

I'm unfortunate enough to have no choice but to sell my dream car.
My job has me relocating and I am unable to take everything with me!
Sadly my car has to be one of them.
I'm a Tech for Mercedes-Benz, and have repaired and rebuilt everything i could with the upmost of care.
The car is-was a project car to restore to full glory.
So certainly the car is not in prestine shape.
Though it is in one of the best condition i have seen compared to several others.
I have done alot of work to the car, though the only thing that will kill me is that all that is needed to get the car running like new is a new ECU/ECM. (previous ECM blew due to damaged wires from corrosion and wear and tear. wiring harness was repaired just with in the last month so it should be perfectly fine.)

I am either 3-4 owner of the car.
previous owner lived in Las Vegas and owned the car for several years, did ok job in upkeep.
Previous owner before him was a young kid. whom trashed the car rode it hard and put it away wet.
That is all I know as far as that goes.
I'm hopeing to work out a good deal.
I have done my homework about this car and its history when I bought it. so I understand the value of the car.(respectively)
vehicle needs to move quickly, but will negotiate for reasonable price

here are specs:

-Hennerot red
-2.5 liter stroker motor, freshly broken in with just over 8,000 miles-
during break-in period oil was changed every 500 miles for first 1500 miles,
then every once every 1000 miles for 4000 miles, and then once at 7500 miles. dropped almost $5000 in bulding the motor. Have all paper work form the rebuild.
-chasis has 127000 miles on it
-paint is faded
-small ding on right front fender (recommend profesional remove the ding-also ding was on the fender when I got the car)
-After market wheels of unknown origen,17's tires are 215-40-zr17 all the way around, tires have about 75% life left on them
-interior is clean-leather is in good condition, small tear about 5 inches long on the driver seat lumbar. mainly from previouse owners getting in and out sliding on that spot!
(tare was in the seat when I bought the car)
-ECM/ECU is fried from old wiring. wiring harness is repaired, so just need new ECU.
-Blaupunkt stereo
-factory sound system
-tinted glass
-5 speed manual transmission
-dash board was replaced by previous owner, dash is from a E30 3-series,
has several heat cracks

Car is TOW-AWAY, and will be sold AS-IS.

I have the car going for $9,000 right now, but will negotiate.
I also have title in hand, says salvage.
But car shows no damage of any accident.
Ultimately I dont know what they were thinking when they registered the car into the database.

No offense to the OP, but there is either frame damage, rust or no 2.5 liter in that car for the price. And how is someone supposed to deal with you if something ends up wrong with the car, & you're back in Europe??? :|

Hopefully everything is what it says, if so someone is getting a hell of a deal.

P.S those are the ugliest rims I've ever seen on an M3!

Used cars are typically as-is, and the OP said that it's a "tow-away" whatever that means.

interesting... http://driversed.com/dmv/colorado-renewal-plates.aspx - looks like that should have a front plate if it was actually registered and driveable.. maybe thats what he means by 'tow away'
