A cheap iX means it needs a transfer case. You're in Buena Park why do you need 4wd?

yeah at the moment i cant afford that just got a e36 and now i want a e30 ix for daily driver/fun car/project car

No matter what, you are going to be spending this amount on an iX... That is just the truth of the matter. So you buy a "cheap" iX @ $2000, that needs AT LEAST $2500 in work, might as well have one that has been maintained by someone else. The car that I have has had over $4k in service over the last year.

Yeah.

I suppose what I am saying is, don't buy an iX that "needs work" to save money.

If you keep your eyes, out, you should be able to find one for $4k
