    FS: 1992 325i Cabriolet

    Car: 1992 BMW 325i Cabriolet
    Color: Alpine White
    VIN: WBABB2311NEC27498
    Production Date: 08/1991
    Notes/History:
    - M-technic II Appearance Package
    - Garaged its whole life
    - Been in japanese magazines (multiple issues, CARBOY and Drift Tengoku)
    - Been in US magazines (Eurotuner, Bimmerfest 07 & 05 coverage)
    - Previously an automatic.
    - Service records from 1994
    - 2nd owner
    Price: $5000 firm

    Big money items:
    - Hardtop
    - Wheels
    - Coilovers
    - M-technic kit (minus the cracked front valence)

My car is a little beat up, but it has never let me down! I trust my car to drive to Vegas and back in its current condition.

This is definitely not a "numbers-matching" car and it will never be a concours car, so if that is what you are looking for, GTFO of this thread!

This car is perfectly setup to have great fun at open drift events, and then drive home in afterward. I've driven several E30s and this is by far the easiest for me to slide. (Of course I haven't driven Erick's car so there is still much to say)

There are many very minor issues with this car that some people may have problems with, and I never have minded, this is because I had the mentality that I'd keep the car forever.
    Things include:
    - No more spare tire because of the subwoofer
    - Horn button on steering wheel doesn't work so I made a little button above the radio
    - No fender plastic wells
    - No plastic guard under the engine bay
    - I was going to perform a wire tuck in the engine bay, but never got around to it, it's not too bad, just nothing worth showing off.
    - Brake lining light is on

    Body: Fair condition
    - Been in one accident which set off the airbag, and two "close-call" taps with guardrails in canyons, one fender bender, and one at home in the garage incident where tires fell on my driver's side fender (most recent)
    - This car has lots of cone-hit battle scars that can be buffed out
    - Hood, driver's side fender, front valence, front bumper, and trunk need to be repaired.
    - Hood has minor dent in corner and common dropped-hood dents
    - Front valence could be repaired and repainted
    - Front bumper could possibly be renewed with a polishing
    - Trunk has a strong dent
    - Driver's side fender is trash
    - Furthermore, a replacement driver's side fender, and trunk are included with the car.
    - Lots of battle scars from hitting cones at events that can be buffed out
    - Front fenders rolled and pulled
    - Rear fenders rolled
    - Kidney grill blackened, chrome kidney grill replacement included
    - Several parking-lot style dings along doors

    Engine: Excellent condition
    - 55k miles on the head.
    - Coming up on next water pump/timing belt job. (To be performed no later than 188k)
    - Last valve adjustment performed at 163k
    - RUNS LIKE A CHAMP! Minimal oil consumption.
    - Just smogged it two weeks ago, passed CA smog with flying colors!
    - Great fuel mileage, I'm averaging 280mi every 12 gallons
    - Because of the chip, 91 octane only
    - 30k miles on fuel pump and intake elbow boot
    - Fresh oilpan as well with new oil level sensor
    - Has an exhaust leak, just annoying, does not affect driveability, will be fixed by the time I replace the waterpump/timing belt
    - Only have used Castrol GTX 20W-50 with one quart of Castrol GTX High Mileage 20W-50
    - Cooling system is in tip-top shape, hoses may need to eventually be replaced.
    - BMW OEM coolant only

    Drivetrain: Great condition
    - 30k on guibo, still in good condition
    - Transmission's output shaft seal needs to be replaced, very slow drip
    - Mild input shaft bearing noise
    - Brake job 5k miles ago.
    - Redline Heavyweight Shockproof in Transmission
    - Neo Synthetic 75-90 RHD in Differential

    Convertible: Meh
    - Power top does not work
    - Soft top can be raised/lowered manually
    - Soft top in excellent condition! With perfect crystal clear window!
    - ONE leak, and a common one at that, at the a-pillar, sometimes it will drip onto your thigh when it rains heavily.

    Electrical: Excellent condition
    - All lights work
    - Check control panel all lights are off
    - Never replaced brake pad sensor, so that lining light is on as of right now. (Can be fixed)
    - All interior lights work
    - Sound system is crystal clear and has strong, tight bass, sounds good even with loud exhaust
    - Horn does not work! Aftermarket steering wheel and my general laziness has led me to not deal with this as an aftermarket horn has been fitted and is activated with a different button.

    Interior: Fair condition
    - Crack free dash!
    - Front seat bolsters are trashed
    - E46 floormats
    - Headliner on hardtop is sagging
    - Passenger side seat does not move forward for rear passenger entry, but I don't remember when I last had a passenger sit in the back of my car.

On a serious note, you're wack.

On a better serious note, I rode in Jon's car. Great little car to drive around. A/C works great, which blew my mind away as almost ALL e30s but one e30 I've owned had no working A/C.
