    Thinking of selling my e30...

Sigh, yes, I think it's time to move on. I want an e34, for some wierd reason, plus I feel that this e30's lifespan might be cut short in my broke-ass hands, so I think it needs to go to a better home, or a better place. Some info:
Mileage: Unknown, somewhere around the 200k mark, the IC was replaced to try and fix the speedo and the original was lost
Ups/maintenance: Not much. M50 injectors, 13 button OBC (needs a new wire harness, only turns on in the right position), IS lip, mystery spoiler, I believe it's an old AC Schnitzer, although that might get sold/given back to my brother for his e30, or if I get another e30, it stays, ANSA muffler, Timing belt, water pump, fan clutch all done back in July of '08, Clutch was just replaced, probably has 25 miles on it, 3.73 LSD, control arms were also replace back in the summer.
The problems: Well, it doesn't like to run for long, I suspect the alternator. The shift linkage is off, like the gears aren't in the right place, for example 2nd gear is right in the middle, still drivable, just takes some getting used to. Most obvious problem: the paint. The paint job was my project for the summer, I was sick of it being primer grey, so I decided to experiment with the roller technique. Long story short, it didn't come out well. Looks fine from a distance though. The sunroof only likes to open in the back, I think the cables just need a adjusted. Speedo/ODO dont work. Engine still runs, and pulls fine when it decides to run.

Definitely for sale. $800 as is-will need a tow. $1000 starts and runs. My brother and I are working on that, hopefully it'll want to turn over by the end of the week
    Pics:

I still have all the side moulding, which will be included, also a maplight mirror, and brand new tie rods (for a little extra)
I'd prefer pickup, being that it won't go far right now, and will probably need to be towed. PM me if interested.

I'll be honest, the valve cover doesn't look as pretty right now, cause it got a little chipped when I put in the m50 injectors, but Definitely will consider it

Well, I've decided that it's for sale, for realsies. I'm going to see if I can sell it as a whole before I even think about parting. I'm also going to put it up on craigslist, and maybe ebay to see what my chances are there.

          Thanks, for looking

Got you pms to those who sent them to me. After some debate, the wing is definitely staying, because I' going to see about getting another e30. I'm going to the local red cross lot because when my brother was looking for an e30 they had a pristine 318is for like $1250! and it sold like the day the ad was put in the autotrader. So yeah, long story short, wing stays, sorry if you wanted it, Also the IS MIGHT stay, I think that it will go with the car though, gotta keep some interest in it :P.

But I greatly appreciate the interest :D

Update: The alternator issue was solved, new belt, and the alternator got loosened somehow, but now it doesn't want to turn over, so tomorrow I'm going to try and get it to start. My brother says there's no spark, so we'll see what I can do tomorrow

SO, I was thinking about it and it seems to me that my price isn't really concrete, so to set it in stone:
$800 as is. Will need a tow as is though
$950-$1000 starts and runs. My brother and I was working on it. Alt. issue is fixed, but now it cranks and doesn't turn over. So if you want it as is, speak up soon, might be fixed by the end of the week.

maybe you'd like e30's more if you didn't drive one in such bad shape.

any e34 you get in that range will be just as shitty

Well the plan now is to try and find another e30, I would like to stay in the BMW family, if I can't, I'm probably going to find a VW or maybe something Japanese. Once this car is gone, I'm going to go up to the Red Cross lot, cause they usually have nice cars for nice prices. They once had an emmaculate 318is for $1250, nothing was wrong with it either.
