SOLD!
I've had it for about 8 months and purchased it from the original owner in April of this year. He bought it brand new in 1988. It has 152,000 miles and runs perfect, never even a hiccup.
When I first bought it, I had my mechanic do all the major maintenance including water pump, thermostat, timing belt, brand new distributor cap and rotor, air filter and all the seals that go along with that. I spent over $600.
I also upgraded suspension to Vogtland springs and Bilstein Sport shocks and struts. We all know what that costs. I did a LOT of searching before purchasing this setup and finally decided on Vogtland. In my eyes (and my ass), it is the best balance of stance and daily driving. Handles like it's on rails.
I also added freshly rebuilt 19lb. Mustang injectors and a Mark D'sylva chip and man can you feel it. Not only did it get me more horsepower but I also saw a VERY significant jump in MPG. I currently get about 20 in the city and have gotten as high as 28 on 10 to Palm Springs.
Now the car's not perfect. It is 20 years old. The paint is good but not great. The body is straight as an arrow with absolutely no rust. The interior is very clean with the exception of the driver's side bolster, as seen in the picture. Every gauge, light and even the OBD works.
I painted the wheels with Duplicolor paint/clear coat. They're not perfect but clean.
The only things it needs is the brake master cylinder and new tie rods, which I have new. The brakes go a little soft but still work fine and the cars pulls a bit left sometimes.
On to the pics...
Here it is after I had her detailed...

spare tire...

I'm sure I'm missing plenty but you get the idea. I love this car and am only selling to move onto a 4 door vehicle, which is needed at my age, especially with 8 nieces & nephews ;)
