Heck, if it does need a gasket it would be due to miles. There's no way that engine could've gone that long w/o having had it changed out sometime early in it's life (when they were all prone to fail). And yeah, inspect the chain & change the tensioner just for good measure. Nice buy and good luck with her!

Profile gasket has to have been redone if the car has made it 200k+ but i would replace the the tensioner and check the chain.

Hello again .
Must be a NJ,PA,NY,CT local buyer. Ok car is back for sale do to Bayer backing up from sale deal made over the phone . Yea tell me . I have bill that i found in the car for $1675 which shows that lots of work was done not even year ago .

Pennzoil and purolator filters suck. You got lots of pepboys parts. I bet the new owner will fix that.
