I picked up another 318is in ok condition. The car is complete front to rear, never modified, completely stock down the the BBS's. I cannot say there is one thing in excellent shape on the entire car other than the dash, which is crack free.
The Bad stuff:
-temp guage is going crazy, car runs nice though, newer radiator.
-needs a timing chain tensioner, you know the noise if you've had an M42 car.
-drivers seat is broken to shit, well its shitty.
-one fog light is cracked
-various scratches, has had some bodywork at some point in time
-one wiper arm is stripped out
-suspension is sloppy but drives down the road nice and straight
Good Stuff:
-good exhaust, passed emissions not too long ago in NY
-shifts ok, not excessively sloppy
-clutch seems tight
-good tires all the way around
-interior stuff works alright
The biggest problem is the fuse box. I have no idea what happened but it melted a hole through the cover. The blower motor fuse seems the be at the root of it and it appears someone may have tried to fix a bad resistor or switch a larger fuse. I am asking $1200 to start with, price is always negotiable.
