    1987 bmw e24 l6

I just got word that my dad picked up an original E24 L6...here are the details I have so far:

Build date 12/1986 with last numbers of VIN: 3265050
Cirrus exterior with a white interior, very clean inside, drivers seat shows minimal wear.
Garage kept with no rust or damage, aside from crack in front spoiler, see pictures below.
MD inspected with 140K on the odometer before it broke. Drives with ease and the automatic shifts easily.

The L6 is a very rare model and came with every option and a full leather interior, and I mean everything is leather, except for the top of the dash.

If you want more info call my pop at 301-949-1128.

    Pictures as promised:

How are these engines? Goot? Baaahhd? Do tell. Also how are these fellers in general?

I don't know much about E24's myself, I was wondering if anyone could point me to a better forum to post this on maybe? I really don't know these cars faults or habits.

Guess the PO didn't feel like cleaning the engine bay, and I posted it the day it came into our possession. Oh and its Cirrus as stated.

Engine bay is NOT bad at all. As for the engine, it's one of the best they made.

How are the suspension bits? Brakes?

i read the L6 cost about as much as the M6 that year. looks like a very nice, rare luxury car, but shared its drivetrain with an auto 635csi but with a few extra hundred pounds of luxury add ons. I love that white, all leather (including headliner) interior. good luck with the sale

I think the drink cooler is the coolest feature :) Also the four bucket seats.
