Up for auction and only up for auction is a 1991 BMW M TECHNIK II (Appearance Package) 325IC Convertible. This car was originally from California, then it was purchased and resided in Florida, just outside Miami, then was purchased by me. The car is located in Toronto, Ontario Canada and is a USA spec. car and should have no problems re entering into the United States. I have had several E30's and this one was meticulously taken care of. I have had the car for just over 10 months and I've spared no expense in restoring it back to my standards, pristine condition. I am forced to sell the car due to lack of space and some financial issues, so this is a GREAT car for the next owner.
Here's what I've done to the car in the last 10 months since I've had it;
1. Replace transmission
2. Repaint the entire car in Diamond Schwartz 181 colour code
3. A new convertible roof
4. New roof arm puller and lever
5. New Sport Maxx rims and tires - 16" x 8"
6. I have put in an E30 M3 steering rack
7. Valve adjustment
8. New IE stage 3 springs and Bilstein sport shocks - lowers the car nicely
9. A new shifter lever
10. I have replaced the dash with a mint used one
11. A full tune up
12. A new timing belt, water pump, and tensioner
13. I have installed a Kenwood folding deck ( will not be sold with the car, comes with stock radio)
14. New brembo cross drilled rotors and PBR deluxe pads
15. Professionally painted calipers - red
16. New Dinnan floor mats
17. New trunk shocks
18. New interstate battery
19. An oil & filter change, transmission flush, diff. fluid flush, coolant flush
20. European smiley style lights
21. Smoked front turn signal markers
22. Smoked rear tail lights
23. A full professional detail
24. The rear fenders have been professionally rolled to avoid rubbing
25. Replaced the centre console with a mint used one
26. Replaced the windshield wiper arm caps
27. Replaced all window switches
28. Replaced all exhaust hangers
The car is CLEAN. There is no rust, leaks, roof seals are good shape. The car has E30 sport seats and they are black leather - 7.5/10 - normal bolster wear with no rips or tares. The car has tinted windows, and they all function as normal. The paint is FRESH - 1o months old. The car was only driven in the summer of 2008 from end of June to September then was stored in a heated garage. The car comes with the rare Euro 6 tape holder and has the BMW OEM cup holder add on piece for the cup holders. The car has roughly 98,000 miles and I have the original speedo and an M3 one that can be thrown in, if wanted. When I took the car to the local motor vehicle office, the person at the counter registered the car with a 122, 000 kms, which is not true, as 98, 000 miles would roughly be 160, 000 kms.
The car will also come with ;
1. Rear OEM windscreen
2. Car cover
3. Original OEM BMW Radio/Cassette deck with code
I have full receipts of my work and I have done a car fax when I originally purchased the car. The only thing that came up on the car fax report was the mileage warning due to the previous owner putting in an E30 M3 cluster.
I took my car to the local BMW dealership and ran my VIN for the original options.
meant to say chipped, as if having paint chips or rock chips
LOL... i thought so Vlad... but everytime I assume... I get burnt... no, there are no chips in the paint... the pic does look like there is a wave in the front tip, but it's the pic.
I drove only side streets and if it was HWY, I drove at night... late. That was one of my biggest fears.... stone chips.
