E30s should be cheap that's part of the point of buying one and not a new BMW. The price of cars depreciates over time and mileage. I don't think you'll find your car here for that price but give ebay a shot and keep looking in peoples yards as you drive down the road. A guy caught me one day while I was in a good mood and I sold him My first e30 For $250. So you can find a deal just be patient.

Yea, I've been looking there. I check it out almost every night before sleep :)

Its doable, I bought a P.O.S. 91 318 for $350 and it ran like a top for a year or so. I just happened to see it in some dudes driveway with a couple flat tires and threw him an offer! Actually theres a white 91 318i in philly I almost bought a few months back for like $700 or so. Needs some things but nothing major. Im gonna dig up old emails and see if I still have dudes number.

I got a running turbo'd 325is that needs some love that you can take off my hands in Boston MA.. It'll need quite a bit of work to become a nice car.. work that I don't care to do anylonger. It still gets me to work everyday on a 90 mile commute..
