Sheesh... this is nice. I'm holding myself to a brilliantrot e30, but this is so tempting, being in delphin gray... since it's titled in the US, does that mean its passed US safety specification?

All E30s are now old enough to be imported under the 25 year rule, which means that they are exempt from meeting safety standards and emissions targets for importation purposes. Some states may end up requiring changes in lighting/instrumentation (fairly unlikely) and that the car meet year specific emissions standards (pretty much only some parts of CA). Know your local rules before buying any non-USDM vehicle.

So if I were to hypothetically import a euro e30, I wouldn't have to replace all of the glass and such for safety regulations? Lighting and instrumentation changes seem cheap enough. Thanks for the help!
