Good people of r3vlimited,
Time for me to sell my S52 swapped E30; my interests/hobbies have changed and I don't have the time to give this car the attention that I intended when I bought it in 2016. Car was purchased in Las Vegas, NV with the motor already swapped by a dude in San Diego. California buyers be aware that the car is not BAR'd so you'll need to work around that.
Price: $5500 OBO
Location: Hanford, CA (30 mins south of Fresno)
VIN: WBAAA1313LAE58576
Mileage: 264,785 (carfax indicates it might've been rolled back a bit, I don't know)
Extras included: Crack free dash, ZF transmission, extra front bumper
I believe in being 100% honest so here goes:
Body/Paint:
RUST FREE - Car has lived its whole life in the South West - garaged the last three years and freshly detailed minus the engine bay.
Clear coat is cracking on the roof and top of trunk
Some dings and pock marks on front of hood and front quarter panels
Drivers side door as a chunk of paint missing
Top of hood has an indentation
Missing plastic strips on rear bumper
Front bumper cracked on corner of driver's side (I have an extra bumped to include w/ car)
Interior:
Tan leather
Carpets are relatively clean (just washed)
Front seats don't match - one comfort, one sport seat
Dash is cracked (crack free dash include in sale)
Nardi steering wheel
Windshield crack running north - south
Driver's side window won't roll down - haven't had time to investigate
Drive Train:
S52 - age/mileage unknown but motor cranks right up every time
Burns a bit of oil, rings may be getting worn
3.46 LSD
Getrag transmission - have noticed some slippage so a new clutch may be in order
ZF transmission pulled from a wrecked vehicle w/ sale. Condition unknown.
UUC skid plate installed
A/C delete
No horn
Engine bay needs to be cleaned up (wiring etc...)
Etc
Generic 4 bolt wheels
New brake pads and rotors
Sun roof doesn't work so well
If you're still reading, yes this car needs some work but the price reflects this. The motor is reliable and the car is fun to drive but needs time and attention that I cannot provide at this point in my life. Please PM me w/ questions and I'll be happy to pass my phone number. Thanks for your consideration.
Zak
