    1988 BMW 325i Convertible - 5sp - 161k miles - Zinno over Black

I bought this '88 325i last winter as a project for my brother and I. The previous owner's daughter had been in a front end collision years before. He had spent years collecting parts - fenders, lights, valences, etc - with the intent to eventually put it all back together and drive it. Eventually, garage space became more important than the future project, so he listed it and ultimately sold it to me.

He had the core support work done, but the car had not been driven since the accident.

My brother and I got it running within a few hours - healthy, healthy motor. Pulls much harder than my previous E30 325i that my brother currently drives. New plugs, wires, etc - normal tune-up work. Oil change, coolant flush, etc.

Once we had it running, I set out to make it a version of the Euro conversion I had sold to my brother. We fitted it with Euro bumpers almost immediately - using new parts. The black sport seats had a few minor tears, so we fitted new seat leather from Lseat. Any interior piece that didn't work or was cracked was replaced. I have a pile of receipts from ECS Tuning from this past Spring. That list includes euro grilles, euro headlights (uninstalled) and new trim where needed - just a ton of stuff. New shift knob.

I sourced a new hood and rear trunk lid (wanted the brake light delete) and fitted those. I also ordered a set of BBS reps and fitted new tires. New shocks and springs all around (H&R/Bilsteins).

It's not perfect by any means. There are numerous dings around the body - most of which could be dealt with using PDR. The brake warning light is illuminated because of the rear brake light delete. The rear view mirror refuses to stay attached. I'm sure there are other components in the suspension that will need replacement eventually. But for me, it was a fun summer driver.

All in all, it presents very well. I have a ton of extra parts so hopefully the new owner can pick it all up. That includes a nice set of original bottle cap wheels with tires.

My brother did a photo shoot last week with it - so I'm including those in this post. If you'd like to see any additional photos, give me a shout.

I'm in the process of building a garage addition at my house so some of the BMW fleet has to go. That's the only reason I'm selling.

Great looking car! Exactly what I want mine to look like eventually. GLWS, if I could sell mine for 5k I'd shell out 2k more to get yours!
Question - is the title clean?

Still 4 lug. Comes with the wheels shown (reps) and the original bottle cap wheels and tires. Tires on the new wheels have less than 100 miles on them.
