    Title: Clean

It has been a pleasure owning this car for the past 8 years. I hate to part with it but life and priorities are taking me in a different direction. I’m hoping to find someone to be the next caretaker and thoroughly enjoy it as much as I have.
Everything except the paint has been touched. The original S14 drivetrain was sold in 2018 and helped put another M3 back on the road. The S54 swap has been slowly put together over the last 5 years. It has only been running and driving since October 2017. Subsequently it has only been driven around 1,300 miles. The car has run 3 flawless autocross sessions in the last 2 years.
One of BMW’s most iconic cars of all time paired with one of the most revered BMW engines makes for an incredible combination. It handles great, has plenty of power, makes all the right noises, and always brings a smile.
The hard to fake and carefully preserved barn-find patina can be enjoyed as is or viewed as a blank canvas.
It is definitely one of a kind and gets a lot of attention and thumbs up wherever it goes.

All parts listed as new only have 1300 miles since installed. Most receipts are accounted for and included.

    Considerations:

The rear half of the car has been repainted at some point prior to my ownership and there are key marks on driver side door. The driver side front fender has been repaired and clear coated and the front bumper has a crack which has been repaired from the back side.
The windshield has a few small rock chips.
The air conditioning fuse socket shows heat damage. I haven’t had a chance to investigate further but I do have the factory A/C lines.
There is a small quarter size rust hole on the firewall shown in the pictures. The gas pedal mounting area has a small amount of surface rust. The rear shock towers and jack location have been professionally repaired of minor rust.
The DME and assorted relays are resting in the glovebox. It needs a simple custom bracket and the wiring organized. The coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges are not functioning. I have not found the time to diagnose but I believe it will be an easy fix. I monitor coolant temps by utilizing the Torque ap on my phone.
All modifications related to the drivetrain swap are completely reversible. No cutting, welding or fabrication has been done to the chassis.

The car is located in Kansas City, MO. I can help facilitate shipping the car, but the buyer is responsible for all associated costs.
    Pre-Purchase Inspection welcome.

    Asking $48,000 obo
Possible trades plus cash on your end. Would need to be something unique. Porsche 911, pre 1972 Mercedes, motorcycles, pre 1970 American cars, E30 touring, etc.

No expenses were spared when putting this together. Sad to see you are selling it.

Lowered price. Would love to find it a new home before it goes into storage.
