I've finally decided to sell my E30. It's a 1988 325i Convertible with a 5 speed manual transmission and 144k on the working odometer. Black exterior with beige interior. I have had the car for almost 2 years now and have driven it daily for stretches over the period and most recently as well. It runs strong and goes through all the gears as it should. Tags good until 08/21 and passed smog with flying colors.
The good:
Changed coolant system with new radiator, hoses, thermostat and water pump
New Cat
New Master Cylinder
New Driveshaft Center Support Bearing
New fuel hoses
Front seats were reupholstered and in good condition
No cracks on the dash
All windows work
Working odometer
Overall solid running car
Things that need attention:
Slim crack on side of windshield
Small crack on headlight
Paint has seen better days and could use respray
Rear interior is in pretty rough condition, wanted to replace but it's hard to find vert interior in good condition
Has dings around the body
Rear plastic window is yellow and not transparent
Convertible top can use some tuning to work better, again kind of hard to find used parts
Needs AC recharge
