    FS: 100k 323i 731 Head

    Hey all,

I pulled this cylinder head from a 180k km 323i (roughly 100k miles). Head is being sold without the cam. Second rocker shaft and rockers arent pictured, but they will be included in the sale.

My price is $280 shipped obo. I need it gone and out of the living room.

    Pictures--

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Hmmm. Still haven't started the stroker project, but is there any reason the regular 325i manifold I picked up wouldn't work?

No idea, they are different in small ways. Glad to send you pictures if you like. PM me your email.

I probably do somewhere. Too bad you arent local, I've got a very nice rebuilt M20B25 motor that I'd let go cheap. I'll check at work tomorrow.

The 325i has tapered runners that are longer when compared to the shorter constant-velocity/diameter 323i runners. Theoretically the runners on the 323i manifold will move the powerband up a bit, probably 300-500 rpm.

Either manifold will work, a friend of mine has used both. I believe in the end he ported the 325i manifold so that the runners have a constant diameter and he's been running that for a while. I can get more details from his experience about how they compare if you are interested.

By the way, this cylinder head has been sold to Sherpa. Keep the project moving foward!
