An E30 part FS posts are always allowed, I think you know that.

A fair price for an OE pump assembly, given how ridiculously expensive they've become. There is really nothing special about them, and one would think a replacement Bosch pump would be available, as it is for other BMW models, so the assembly can be easily rebuilt with a new pump and rubber hoses (northing really happens to the metal bracket and pipes, and really the strainer.) But no, not for E30! I got an aftermarket rebuild kit which included the pump, hoses, strainer, and connectors, and rebuilt my original assembly. It was quite a project as almost everything needed to be modified. I was happy with the end result, and the kit was only $50, but in the future, I'll just go for a complete aftermarket assembly. Or if something like Dicky's deal comes along, OE.
