I swapped in a Torsen and removed this open 4.10 rear end, working fine, no damage. I think a cooling fin was damaged. The axles came out without issue and they need new boots, otherwise running fine.
I don't really know if the axles are BMW originals. I could not tell if there was a roundel anywhere. It thought those might be on the shafts but did not find anything. They have a ridge in the middle if that means anything.
$50 for the diff and shipping is on you and $25 for the axles.
