As I imagine most OG's are aware I've offered fully refurbished ABS Pumps for years now, but through frequent inquiry I have added limited additional offerings to the list of items I can provide restored to concours quality. Noticed brake caliper refurbs are “out of stock.” Is this temporary or will you no longer offer this service?

Jordan rebuilt my ABS pump last year. I sent him my factory, non working pump and got back a perfectly working better than brand new looking pump. I honestly did not want to install it and just display it on a shelf. His attn.to detail is incredible.

I can still offer them to order, but stopped trying to keep them on hand for a number of reasons. Primarily its exceedingly hard to find castings clean enough to actually take plating nicely, and stay that way. The calipers are soft cast iron and prone to porosity which causes rapid failure of the coating in the localized area of the pitting, which in turn spreads like cancer over the body of the caliper. That sort of time based wear isn't an issue for parts-store remans that are oil-rubbed and flash rust within a week of installation, but I do expect my work to last for years when used and kept responsibly..

Thank you for the kind words, I always tell people photos don't do these items justice at all. Function is paramount, but the cosmetic appearance is sometime I strive to provide at its highest standard.
