You sure that's not an E38 unit? Looks just like it. Can still be retrofitted in an E30 though.

Nope its definatley for the E30 and it fits perfertly snug onto the back shelf. The E38 ones are wider.

Thats one rare piece. I've only seen it on Magazines. When i had my 2dr. I went crazy looking for one of these.

I love my rear sunshade and leave it up all year round...just wish I could take it down at night with the push of a button. Never knew about these but pretty awesome!

So this is the max height of it? seems like a waste since the top 3 inches are not covered.

Neat piece, I can say I have never seen one in an e30. I have 2 manual ones and I do like them they cut back on cabin temps when the car is sitting.
