I've been inactive on here for about a decade after moving on from my es and ix. I realized the other day that the transfer case chain I have sitting on my desk for decoration would probably be better served back in use!
Back in like 2009-ish, I had a TC noise, so I tracked down a chain and bearings and such to do a rebuild. When I opened it up, it was plainly obvious what the issue was... one of the bearings had eaten itself! So, I swapped in the new chain I bought and replaced all the bearings, but kept this chain as a backup, in case I ever went back to an IX... but it has been sitting on my desk since.
$500 to a good home.
