No, mine is power too, I just lost the switch for it.... but any toggle switch from the hardware store will work.. you could even use a BMW window switch..

So is this a e30 part? what years? Also pretty ridiculous for asking such a inflated price if you lost the switch.

This is NOT R3V approved advice!

Come on, you gotta at least pretend you like things done the right way.

From what I know a power window switch will work for it

This came out in Germany back in the late 80's, early 90's... to my knowledge, it's like the BMW cup holders.... made for BMW by another company and sold as an option at the dealer. I think that name on the part is VanHussen or something like that... I will double check.

the switch, I will look for the one that came with the part when I got it. If I can't find it, I will make sure I have a working switch when sold.

There's a positive and negative on this unit, no ground... the guy that I purchased from in Germany told me that he tied it into the power coming off one of his window switches and had to cut a hole for the switch into his E30 ebrake console - his chosen mounting place for the switch.

If you don't like my price, source one out, do what you need to do.... but don't crap on my thread thanks.
