Works for etas as well since it has a reference pin, used in conjunction with 325i sprung hub friction disc and 325i pressure plate. A great upgrade over the dual mass flywheel or your 325i!
Stuff on friction surface is just the dust from the clutch, just looks like rust due to lighting and water on it. Ill finish cleaning it this week.
Would work apparently on the M42 if you change the pinion gear on the starter.
