    RUFF Camber Plates (9 sets)

As many of you know, Carr Industries have ended their run with online sales. Being in very good terms with Tom Carr (the owner) I've been helping him sell some of his remaining stock. Here's a r3v only offer, something I was able to work out for you guys.

Camber plates are made by RUFF Technik in Taiwan. They are great quality and are Spec-e30 legal.

They really are superb quality for the price, and everyone who's had them will tell you that. They are perfect for dual purpose cars. They come with seals and grease for maintenance-free life, unlike many expensive race-dedicated camber plates. They allow full adjustment without cutting strut towers, also unlike many race-specific camber plates. Needless to say, they're bearing design, instead of rubber or urethane. Plates are CNC machined and are not cast or stamped.

These camber plates ran for $260 at intro price from Carr Industries, with list price at $299, and $275 (+shiping from Taiwan) direct from RUFF. Since Carr no longer has online store, here's your chance.

Only 3 out of 9 sets left

So $230 + shipping gets a set at this time.
    In continental US, $235 shipped.

Paypal: asmanwdogz@yahoo.com first 9 get them

this is the pic out of other thread, as you can see there's a few mm difference. Also note that stock mount doesn't have seal and washer/spacer under it, so difference is even smaller than that.

NOTE: That shiny spacer you see under the Ruff Plate shouldn't be there. In that pic camber plate is improperly assembled, hence such height difference. I'll take a pic tomorrow of them side by side. Can't believe I didn't notice it earlier.

            3 questions:

            1. How is ride quality affected?

            2. Can I use these to get my front end closer to stock alignment specs?

            3. Can I use the stock-type springs (B+G, if it matters) and KYB struts?

            Thanks.

                            Sorry bud...

                            1. Ride quality got smoother, no knocking or binding, it really does feel great. I was expecting it to get harsher, but that ball movement probably made up for rubber. It worked out better than expected.

                            2. Yes. Goodyear shop set it to 0 when they did my alignment, and I had to beg them to step outside of their boundaries and set my camber to match rear.

                            3. They're sitting on my Billies Sports, and as far as I know, there's no difference between those and KYBs. They do come with 2 sets of spacers, but I only had to use one.

Sorry for not noticing your questions earlier.

No worries, I figured it got lost in the chatter.

I really want these, but don't know if I can budget for it right now.

I am SO sick of eating tires every year...I want stock specs, dammit!

PM you in a day or three if any are left.
