                You insert it into the console then pull it flush with the front make sure your connections to the socket are not going straight down or else it won't seat into the console correctly.

                It will be normal for some consoles to have a slight gap on the back since back in the day quality control wasn't that great so there are some differences in the depth of the consoles.

                I have 1 console on my bench that I use to test fit the holders before I ship them out.
