Used good tranny out of an 87 or 88 535i (bought from Joe) only $220 local pick-up because one mounting ear need to be welded on or $300 shipped anywhere in US.

Got it, pm'ed back.

Both items can be shipped, as I'll construct a sturdy box that the tranny will be bolted to and then boxed in padding/cardboard for safe delivery.

Head is straight, it's up to you if you want to just put it on or rebuild it.
You'll need a head gasket obviously.
