In the 10+ years I've been collecting E30 parts this is the nicest Moonroof I have come across and I have had 4 other ones. There are no scratches or defects on the glass and the seals are good.
The slider is intact and complete with the black plastic panel. The plastic panel needs a minor repair on the back edge where it has cracked loose, but isn't important and can't be seen. Some moonroofs don't have the slider anyway and of the ones that do many of the black plastic panels are long gone. The fabric isn't too bad and the worn places are mostly hidden buy the headliner anyway. If you want to recover the panel using the fabric from your old panel it's easy and I have done it many times installing Saab moonroofs into E28s.
It comes with the two correct cable covers that most moonroofs didn't even have when new. I have a feeling that only the cars that got the glass panel at the factory had these covers and the panels that were dealer installed didn't get them. I had one other set of the covers and they were on a wrecked car I bought from the original owner. It was a Euro delivery car picked up at the factory.
Shipping cost won't be too bad and I do know how to package it to prevent it from being damaged. Local pick up is fine.
The other 4 moonroofs I sold on eBay and they went for between $450 and $805. This one is nicer than those other 4 were. I am going to sell it for $500. I might consider a trade or part trade with a local guy for a set of E30 after market rims. Sooner or later I will stick it on eBay even though I really hate eBay.
