US Elips with yellow LaminX and 3000k DDM HIDs.

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Strap the sun to your E30s face.

I ran these on my winter beater that early this spring decided it didn't want to be alive anymore and subsequently ate its M42. Where does depression hurt? It hurts everywhere. The "Panda" as I've affectionately called it has since parted ways but I've still got its jaundiced, all-seeing eyes. Now they can be yours.

    Specs:

BMW E30 US Elips with Yellow Lamin-X, 3000k(yellow) DDM Digital Slim Ballast HIDs, & brand new HID harness. LaminX and HIDs were done around December.

Super clean cutoff. Perfect adjusters. No broken tabs. No cracks. Brand new high beam bulbs (around 20 bucks). Ultra minimum pitting, which is hardly noticeable now due to the laminX.

wow good deal. its so tempting being payday! haha. I have to look and see what the Mass law is about yellow head lights. does that laminx come off easy? might just take the yellow off and put the tint on.

LaminX does come off, but the HIDs are a yellow color temperature as well. Not really sure exactly how yellow as I did this all at once, but I was going for as yellow as possible. HID bulbs in different color temps are only around 20 nowadays though, so its one of those things that's easy to switch up if you get bored.

Bought the Elips without stock bulbs, but the HID kit is 9006 so it's completely reversible.

I personally would never run elips without a drop-in kit, the lighting is terrible.

Well, depends on who you buy through, but I want to say you can get a pair for 25 on the low end.

I gotcha, but just as a heads up, nice elips are going to run 130 on the low end, HIDs around 60, and the wiring harness is around 20, this is all before shipping.

Hmmm, my euro elips have been pissing me off with half-assed lighting. Waiting to get home and see pics... (I know they're there, just blocked for me ATM)

Sadly I don't have an E30 to play with right now, but I'm sure I'll have one again someday. The new beater is *gasp* a honda, but I'll make it work. The summer daily is still the 2004 R32, just changed wheels from the 997 carerra lobsterclaws to some wider and lighter BBS-cast TechArts.
