After a long thought about what a smart move would be, Ive decided to abandon my build for a later time. Turbo is definitely something I want to do, its just not the time. With my move coming up, school starting, career goals to be met, and a commute, I need a reliable car.
****UPDATE**** 6/27 My buddy that has this kit got his car dyno'd. He was dyno'd at 210rwhp & 215 wheel torque at 4500rpms @ 10psi when the clutch started to slip. The mechanics there said that if the car was to go all out to 7000rpms, he would be making 250rwhp
This build puts down around 240-250rwhp at 9-10psi. I DO NOT HAVE A DYNO SHEET. I would love to have one but the other car that has this build hasnt been dyno'd yet.
With that being said here's the run down:
Volvo Turbo TD05-12B w/ wastegate and blow off valve - 85$ No shaft play, good condition. Unknown Mileage.
Intercooler Kit- 140$ Brand new, Never been used.
Copper gasket for the turbo to mani: 40$
Begi 2027 RRFPR - 190$ Less than 600 miles.
19# Injectors- 70$ Less than 5,000 miles
524td Mani - 80$ Unknown mileage.
Down pipe – 20$ Its a piece of pipe :P
Good Couplers - 20$ They are way better then what came with the ebay kit.
TCD Chip - 110$ Retards the timing to avoid knock.
3 Gauges: 70$ Brand new, still in box. Boost, A/F, and I believe Oil temp
Gauge panel: 25$ Bought from e30tech, its the 4 gauge center vent one.
TOTAL: 850$
Now, Id like to get rid of it as a whole. People with offers on the entire thing will have priority.
The prices listed above is what I paid. All prices are OBO
Price for the entire thing is: 775obo
I will meet halfway to most places in the Bay.
What this kit needs to be complete:
-Oil Lines
-Tapped Oil Pan
-Exhaust
-Misc. things (cone, movement of engine bay items, right angle rubber hose)
