Having owned both the Spec plates and the coilover ones, I can tell you these are the coilover spring type plates.

They retail for $299 now I think?

Good part. Works with coilover type springs, not stock diameter lowering springs.

i don't quite understand your post. these plates according to dave in post #10 are the 295 ones that does not accept the factory diameter springs. and as quoted in your post and on ie they are 295. are you saying that ie offers them for 295 shipped?

im not quite sure. i bought these used and never installed them on my car. so im going off of what people who have these experience and knowledge

from what i understand these are the adjustable racing plates for 295. if they are proven not then i can adjust my price.
