Well by the time you piece mill a motor like this together you don't know what you have. Is this price out of line ? maybe. Maybe not. I just hate to piece it out.

used to have a grey-market 745i. For being over 3000 pounds, that thing pulled like a mofo. I'd love to see one swapped into an E30! Pretty tricky swap I imagine.

there was one sold locally in NC a few weeks ago for $2500, so the price is very good.
