Based on the outside no leaks. Play u can feel by hand and this one is good. ~20 years old x 12K miles per year should get u in the ballpark.

Crazy story. When I bought my 325is used from a guy who wasn't really an enthusiast, I figured out more than a year later that I always had this diff on my car. Great diff guys, especially with the s5x motors. So BUY IT! :hitler:
