    Would there be interest in...

Would there be interest in reproduced large toolkit foam? (the foam the tray rests on). I have the original foam pulled from a large toolkit and its all ratty and gross, but I used the shape to replicate a new one for my car. Looks completely factory. I am thinking about getting a set of 5 or 10 reproduced (they're NLA for those who don't know) and selling them for like $25 shipped.

Would anybody be interested in this? If I get at least 5 interested people, I'll get them reproduced tomorrow and ready to ship tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the reproduced one on my car:

Here is the full process with more pics of when it was done:

    EDIT:
For the 4 of you that ordered these, I'm shipping them out tomorrow.
I'll PM you with tracking numbers sometime tomorrow afternoon.

The top one is the original one I used as the shape, the 4 below it are the reproductions.

I'll be making another 4 of these in the next week. If anybody wants one, send payal payment to Japandrew73@roadrunner.com along with your address.

OK! For those who do want the large toolkit foam, send $25 to Japandrew73@roadrunner.com (using paypal of course) and send me a PM stating your address so I don't mix anyone's addresses up. Tomorrow I'm going down to make a batch of them. I'll send you a PM back with a tracking code when I've shipped it. :D

For those who have paypal'd me...

I went to the Foam and Fabrics store today, picked out the material and width, and they are making 6 as I type. They will be ready for me this afternoon and i'll be taking pics and updating later today.

I, and everyone else who buys these, should use 3M 77 adhesive spray. It's meant for foam and stuff like this. You're free to use whatever you like, but that's what I used on mine and it sticks perfectly. I made sure the small foam's residue was completely gone though.

Cuts don't look very straight from the pictures though. Might be my monitor.

It is. Like I said, when mounted, the cuts in the middle rectangle go over a hump in the middle of the bootlid. Look at the picture of mine on the original post for an idea of what I'm talking about.

The only thing I cut is the center rectangle. The foam and fabrics store cuts the shape of the foam.

Everyone has to understand, these were dye-cut from factory. They had a stamping machine that stamped these shapes perfectly straight. Without that, they aren't going to be perfect. They're pretty damn good in person.

Neither of you bought them anyways. If you guys wish to buy let me know, if not, don't be nit-picky :)
